CHANCEL CHOIR
The Chancel Choir practices on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30. They are responsible for leading music in worship on Sunday mornings. For more information, contact Shayla Davis.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY
We host a chapter of Celebrate Recovery as a safe place for anyone to attend. The group meets every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:30. As part of our Celebrate Recovery ministry, we have a modern worship experience immediately following our meal together. Everyone is invited! For more information, contact Brian Stack.

How do we try to play God?
Looking at the uniquely Christian “capital vices” (also popularly known as the seven deadly sins), we spend the spiritually forming time of Lent to examine how we might try to control our lives and outcomes through the root sin of pride, which leads to vices, which all lead to other sins. Yet, through the Holy Spirit of God dwelling within us, we can relinquish control, surrender our will to His, and have better flourishing than we could ever imagine in our own power!

What did Jesus means? How do we handle such teachings? We won’t even scratch the surface over the next four weeks, but we will dive into some Jesus’ surprisingly offensive gospel message and how it really is good news!
